This sucks! Praying for a miracle and I've seen a few in my days. I'm also praying for his family, they have a rough few days ahead concerning his care.

might be too soon to start posting some of his best material...
But his post-game on field 'Candy corn totally sucks' is right up near the top with this one (about marriage):

I personally think the "fat little girlfriends" line he had all those years ago is the greatest sound bite in the history of college football.

I had never heard that. That’s amazing.

All of these clips are great. The best thing about his interviews is that he speaks in a manner that implies he’ll just keep talking until he’s completely done. You get the impression that if he had chosen to speak for another two hours, and the building was in fire, the reporter was just gonna stand there with the microphone and in his face. Complete control of the conversation and quick enough to just keep segueing without any real delays.

He’s an incredible conversationalist. No coach speak. Answers whatever questions there are. and gives no fvks.

Haven’t seen it posted yet, but his infamous post game locker room speech where he goes off about them living off the year prior, is HOF material as well.

Prayers up for coach Leach. Absolutely heartbreaking. One of the few, if not the only, coach left that shoots it straight with everyone and acts like a human instead of a rehearsed robot. God bless him.

Can you imagine any other coach striking up a deep conversation about Halloween candy? He took that question seriously and answered it seriously.

Hi wit was incredible.

On our team's expectations in 2006:
"Well, outside of Lubbock, expectations aren't very high. But it's okay, we play in Lubbock a lot this season"

this one?

Yes. What makes it so incredible is that you realize near the end that this was following a win. And much like Spurrier he almost always made it a 50-50 where he and the other coaches shouldered as much blame.
