Havent seen a like button lately and I am not drunk yet.For a $50 donation I’ll fix it.
our qb's are ass, so is Ox's opinion.
I got laid last night.
So we’re checking on him four times all fall max? We’re going to have to check on you after wins.
I'm not sure that Billy shares your enthusiasmOur QB play will better than last year. Of that I am confident no matter which QB plays.
On TV I found the completion stats surprising because Miller seemed far superior to Mertz as to timing of the ball coming out, ball placement, and read option. Not at all good, yet still better than Mertz and not particularly close. To your point on not wanting to scare anyone away, while I think it’s somewhat in jest, you could definitely make that argument. Probably the best pass I saw all night was a deep pass from Brown that was slightly overthrown. Incompletions are incompletions, but at least where the ball was placed it was our guy or no one. Every other pass I saw beyond 20 yards was so underthrown you’d swear it was one of us here throwing it. Pretty sure that was his last throw of the night. But MB at least looked like a guy who could become solid. Mertz is average, with nerve a chance to improve and be good. Miller should’ve quit football decades ago.
This! Had Mertz lit it up with 3-4 tds they would be crying another yr of terrible defense ect. Some ppl just like to bitch ..From certain members, yes.
If the offense had kicked ass, you and your ilk would be bitching about how awful the defense is going to be. And vice versa, etc. You can’t “win” a meaningless spring game. Making any projections on the season based on this “game” is absurd and even our slower members know it.
I’ve said I think our offense and our defense will be better next season. I have no idea how many wins that will translate into.
Miller barely hit 50% of his passes. Was at 44% before his last 2 check downs to uncovered RB put him at 50%On TV I found the completion stats surprising because Miller seemed far superior to Mertz as to timing of the ball coming out, ball placement, and read option. One thing that fired me up was no more Dean / Torrence at my Safety positionsOnly thing I liked about that 'game' last night was Patrick Toney not being there.
Indeed. We are young back there but hopefully faster and with better instincts. We may suffer growing pains but you can’t get experience without prepping with film study knowing you’re responsible and playing. One thing that fired me up was no more Dean / Torrence at my Safety positions
