What if Tony eventually determines he doesn’t need Vernell around anymore and tells him to step off?

This is my concern as well. AR is naive and somewhat vulnerable right now due to his age.
In a few years or less, he could decide that he’s got it from here and jettisons VB.

The stability of his role at UF would look really good to him AND his five children. Not sure I would take this risk IF I had five children.

If Tony jettison's VB, VB could return to admin or coaching I am sure. As I said if Tony is a hit, VB could leverage that success to others possibly. As for VB and his 5 kids, VB was on the receiving end of a settlement that stemmed from an accident, I heard it was a nice amount but can't verify.

Like what if Tony, now being wealthy, wants to become adventurous and go rock climbing? I just don’t see Vernell being suited for that or being an asset any longer. Even if he provided lunch, there’s only so many tuna sandwiches he could possibly make.

Stroud and Levis will help determine that. Levis is cratering in some mock drafts.

"A lot higher". Since almost every mock has him going between 1 and 5, this is total nonsense. Genius take. Next he'll tell us his "source" has shared with him that Bryce Young may go in the Top 3.

This is laughable. Spurrier would have benched AR very quickly. Patience with QB's was not his strong suit.

I could see Richardson lasting maybe two error-filled series before SOS torched whatever little confidence he had forever.

Danny Weurffel is literally the opposite QB as AR.

I agree. Spurrier has gotten soft in his old age and wants to go with the flow. There is no way AR survives him. And that’s not even a knock on AR per se. Just not mentally cut out for that type of coaching. Very few were then even. Almost no one today.

Levis is a delivery driver for Autozone within 4 years.

His positioning was on the rise the last few weeks. Overachieving kid who says all the right things. The safe pick for a GM who doesn't have the balls to risk a career-ending bad pick.

If he proved incapable, true. Spurrier knows what was ARs coaching at UF. He must believe he could teach him.

Do you know if we have the same QBs coach as last season? I don’t know.
