Off field stuff - infrastructure, crootin, staffing, etc. are all much better positioned and trending positively, but none of that addresses the woeful game plans we saw from week to week, the lack of any in game adjustments, the absolutely dreadful use and non use of timeouts to our detriment and the opponents advantage, the complete void of special teams coaching and woefully basic offensive plays and play calling. About the only positive I can point to for in game improvements is toney being mercifully fired. That just has to be a net positive, right?
I get what you’re saying, but Napier strikes me as a guy who learns from his mistakes. I really expect to see big improvements this season. Due to some still existing holes in the roster, most notably at QB, this season may be similar to the last as far as W & L ‘s go.

Your IQ seems to get lower with every post. This may be the dumbest group of words ever spilled out on the Chatter. I'm still a big fan of yours, however.

Dude, don't watch the games this year. You won't enjoy them if we lose (obviously), but the fact is you won't enjoy them if we win either, as you hate Billy and don't want his stay extended. Pull the ripcord and bail out.

There won’t be much to enjoy for gator nation this upcoming season . I expect pain and it will come in droves with not only losses but limp dick wins like the horse**** against South Fla . Understanding where we are , and acknowledging we would be better off with Anthony than Grammy ****ing Mertz or sally sue Miller being coached by the great Billy is common sense .

PS- I don’t appreciate your IQ dig you ****ing jerk .

Noone hates a win more than Gator fans
NegaGators would rather be right and lose every game than have to admit they were wrong and we win. Like I said before, prepare yourselves for the QB gurus in here to over analize every pass Mertz makes, even the completions. Mostly from the same guys who didnt say a peep when 9-27 happened in the last game of the season vs an instate rival. If Mertz hits 33% vs Utah ill be the first to admit I was wrong and that he's sh it

You're the one ramming yours up into potater's backside and waving it in all our faces. Frankly I'm confused as to how you think I or anyone else wouldn't notice?
Doesn’t Slingblade have a brother named Darryl? Has to at least be a second cousin. There’s no other excuse for his blind loyalty

Should see same run game success. But how will the staff make up for AR's run yards? If they also improve the pass game and look like generals on the sideline, we could be better than last season. Not sure what to expect from our D. But it has to be better than last season.

Yeah. Napier went on a rampage about admissions. He said the portal’s a disaster because they can’t bring kids in for visits because nobody can get admitted.
Until the UAA puts some pressure on the admin, nothing will change. We’ve been at a disadvantage with transfers forever. The portal and the one time free transfer has just totally exposed how big that disadvantage is.

You'd think players off Dans squad going undrafted and transferring to powerhouses like Temple, Mich St and V-Tech would be a pretty good indicator of the talent he brought in for the new staff to work with... But, then again.

And I already stated a few pages back that this season I would be less forgiving than I was about last season as I counted that as a mulligan.

SOS brought up this issue a few times when the occasional HS player was denied while everyone not named vandy in the SEC rolled out the red carpet. This issue is decades old.
