Gators leave them loaded with double play. Horrible at bat as pitcher couldn’t find the zone. That one hurts

Abner climbs out of the huge hole he created himself, so props for that. But it is just the little things that haunt us it seems like. An 0-2 pitch that catches the fattest part of the plate, hitting the #9 hitter who could not hit a ball off of a tee and then a walk. Great escape but you can't give them this much.

Leadoff walk. Then nothing, cant touch ragarm and his 83mph slider. Amazing

Unfortunately, this happens a lot in baseball. Teams that rely on HRs during regular season all the sudden go quiet in the playoffs.

Let’s pull this one out tho, fellas!

It's not a slump. It is a lack of knowledge, ability, discipline and focus at the plate and on the mound. We have the most talent of any team in the NCAA but we lack the essential elements for a cohesive understanding of gametime success. Recruiting and talent are not enough. Talent needs to be coached and that is what we lack.

Home team, road team completely irrelevant. You are in your own park. I have no issue with it.

Be that as it may I mentioned somewhere a few weeks ago in this thread that you CAN'T pitch Slater 2 days in a row. I do not care how few pitches he threw yesterday, His pitches have nowhere need the same movement on Day 2 if he pitches on consecutive days. He did the exact same thing last year in the regionals on back to back days.

Slater threw a gopher ball to the TT top HR hitter. Any idiot knows you throw something outside off the plate but close enough to maybe entice a swing and miss. A worse case scenario is you walk him and pitch to the next guy. Slate should be demoted to JV and the coach should be fired or promoted to AD.
