All I remember of Mccarron was his tattoo that looked like someone threw up after eating some random letter, numbers and symbols. He shouldn’t have even been allowed to play football after that monstrosity.
But how does that tattoo stack up with this masterpiece?

This was easily the worst tattoo in the history of football players. And this guy actually played in the NFL.
Schit, double posted.

I’m encouraged by the positive impressions we are seeing re: Boardingham, the 3 freshmen WRs and Carroll. There is a lot of potential there. But opportunities for touches are going to be at a premium under the new clock rules.

If we average say 60 plays per game (we averaged 64.5 last year), split it 30 pass and 30 runs, and you have to feed Montrell & Etienne 10-15 touches each, that leaves 25-30 for everyone else. No receiver averaged 3 receptions per game last year. (Henderson led with 38, Pearsall 33 in 13 games.)

Each opportunity is precious.

Thoughts?

Do you mean the new clock rules from 8 or so years ago or what? I hate those damn rules by the way as it just gives more time for commercials especially on ESPN, etc…

Hopefully, an improved defense means more offensive snaps, and not less.

Nope. They are going to start keeping the clock running after first downs like they do in the NFL. Except in the last 2 minutes.

Am I the only one that sees a DB trying to take on a 220lb RB standing still and straight up? That's not going to work.
Physics (especially motion mechanics) should be a required course for every defensive player.

Physics lab too.

That's what they should call Fall Camp. Give 3 hours credit for their physical science requirement. In this case, Newton's First Law is evident. An object in motion remains in motion unless acted on by an outside force. His third Law says two masses interacting apply opposite forces on each other proportional to the mass and velocity squared of each object. Simply stated, a big ass running back going fast is going to clock a diminutive defense back standing still each and every time.
