UF Coaching Thread: Russ Callaway promoted to Co-OC

Heard on a podcast today that any OL Coach changes they make won’t be until after signing day.

Wouldn’t want to disrupt the myriads of prospects they’re currently bagging. Also, need to get the kids’ signatures first so they’re locked in and can’t go anywhere. It’s the smart move.

The problem isn't that we were statistically worse (I actually didn't think we were), it's that we weren't improved enough to overcome the stupid assed offensive strategy and in game coaching buffoonery. Hence the worse record with just as many head scratching losses to teams with less talent.

A logical discussion is one thing, but when every effing comment right now is followed with a over-the-top personal slam on Napier, it's no longer a logical discussion. Anything said that would be even remotely positive right now would just ignite a beat-down by the mob, led by people like yourself. While a bunch of guys are getting off on the current torches-and-pitchforks environment (Swamp Donkey for example is happier than a pig in sh!t), I'm not interested.

I'm going to sit back and see how it plays out. Since Napier isn't going anywhere at the moment, it's pointless to keep bashing our heads against the wall.

I think Donkey either had a stroke or started taking Xanax while he was gone.

We had everyone bitching because Billy made fires before ESD, now we have people bitching that he's going to wait to do more after ESD.

Because we're keeping 2 mother fukers that didn't have **** committed in their position groups and never have for that matter, till esd. But we fired the 2 guys that both had 5 stars committed to their position group. It's an ass backwards move. That's why we're bitching.

That kid is what the entire country thinks about this program right now. It's pathetic and embarrassing and absolutely unacceptable, yet here we are being served another heaping pile of dog sht to eat in 24.

that might be because the coaches he fired now were actually recruiting well and his schythead ULL buddies (OL) are recruiting like McElstain. I would think youd want to bring someone competent onboard and hope to change any fence sitters and hopefully land some actual talent for OL.

It is starting to look like he's trying to get fired.
