Ole Miss 2025

Trying to get to Oxford is painful. It gives a lot to the expression, "you can't get there from here". Don't see the 2025 version of the Rebs anywhere near this past season's version. They won't be awful, but replacing a lot of pieces. And Queenly..........second string, :lol2:. Take another play off #1.
We used to live in Memphis and were planning to go back to visit and to the Ole Miss game in 2019 until Covid effed everything up. Even had a deal lined up to stay at the Peabody. For unknown reasons, Mrs G is less interested this go round.

Don't forget to set your clock back to 1954 when you cross the state line.

When someone mentioned Ohio to me my thoughts immediately went to jumping off a a high bridge full of Semis hauling portable parking lots and hog trailers loaded to the top with tusk bearing killers that would easily drain your leg arteries with side slung motions. Its true love for sure.

I didnt know Dan lived in a trailerpark in Muhssippi.

I can’t wait for Homer’s 2029 Vanderbilt thread.

Family is financially turning a corner (finally!) and I'm talking to the wife about UF @ Ole Miss to be an away game we travel for. Just realized we'd have to fly in-out of Memphis, which is fine as we can turn it into a good bit of time there as well (wife always wanted to go). Hearing their team will be significantly underpowered makes it all the more encouraging to attend. Looking forward to it.

Ole Miss lost their first three running backs and forced to use a slot receiver and DT at RB and their only decent (all american) WR hurt. Clowntown was a hilarious shiiiteshow.

For those of you who don't actually know what is happening on the football field, we also showed the world that Retard and DJ (Retard more than DJ) cant figure out a zone defense even if it is a defense as bad as FSU or G5 Tulane. That's right, even G5 Tulane figured it out. Guess what happens next year? You think Retard is going to figure out this particular Rubik's Cube? Because every defense will be dropping 8 on third and long.
Still seething over those wins. Do you have any idea how you sound?

I’ve always pictured a sort of cross between the marriage priest in Princess Bride, the admiral who keeps spilling his coffee in Top Gun, and the public defender in My Cousin Vinny.

Could be way off though.

Navy? Are you even trying?

Also, he wasn't an admiral.

I thought that was the nicest of the three and was trying to help you out. Just my nature. You want to be just the “maawaage” and “Mr T-t-t-tiiiiipton” guys, so be it.

Also, I guess he was an Air Boss, not admiral. So I concede. Either way, he wanted some butts.

It's like an offseason uniform thread. I'd say 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ID are all-time classics (sorry 4th) but of those 3, I'd choose the Big Red One. 1st Armored is too busy. 101 Air Mobile, uh Airborne Assualt, and 1st Cav are also tight, very nice. 82nd Airborne and 10th Mountain are clean. Blackhorse dominates that bottom row. Seriously, what's up with the 509th? Looks like a video game character from 1981.

@AlexDaGator, the armored division patches were all the same and very deliberate... the three colors represent the combined arms of armor (yellow), infantry (blue), and artillery (red)

Forgot about Hair Nation. Also good. The worst was when those crossover period songs would be on multiple stations at the same time. Some of the late 90s RHCP would often be on Lithium and 90s simultaneously. Jesus Jones would sometimes catch the 80s, 90s and Lithium.
