I think it came down to the gala over the weekend and hanging out with the recruits he knows. I think he wanted to come here, but the pull from everything in athens the last 18 months was to much on him even after Richt was fired. Those weird ass fans are already naming kids after him and he's never even taken a snap. I just don't see that coaching staff working out and the OC hire was a panic moves strictly to keep this kid.

It is recruiting... it happens... the kid had been committed to UGA for 18th months so I never really felt like it was a fair competition. The relationships he had with the other UGA recruits was going to make it extremely difficult for him to swap. Nobody wants to let people they have become friends with down.

Do I wish the kid came to Florida... absolutely. Do I wish we beat him every year in Jax... hell yeah! Do I have any ill will toward an 18 year old kid making the decision he feels is best for him... NO

That's disappointing. I'm thinking a lifetime ban is in order.

And by the way, he didn't make the decision he thought was best for him. He buckled under the pressure to stay. I know it, you know it, he knows it. That makes him a perfect Bulldog QB, someone who folds under pressure.
