I'll admit Campbell is a decent coach if you'll admit Grier is a decent quarterback.
I’ll say he’s decent, that’s about it. He hit those wide open receivers just as well as every other system QB under Holgersen.

Only a half wit dumbass would think 20 points is a good output for ANY quarterback. And Matt Campbell may not get hired by us, but if he has a team of nobodies playing this well, wait till he gets a real roster.

At the risk of stepping into this debate of whether or not a double stamp can in fact be triple stamped, I'll throw this question out there...

Do you think Campbell's the type of guy that almost needs a team of nobodies to get his message through. In short, do you see his message resonating with the primadonas that we'll need to truly compete? Or do you think a place like ISU is his perfect fit? I'm on the fence about this.

That’s a good question to ask. Maybe a tough nose guy wouldn’t resonate with a bunch of “me first” guys. After watching our team today, I sure as hell know the “aw shucks” approach of the last three years wasn’t working.

Yeah I ask because I'm not sure myself. He seems like a "chop wood" guy, which is great but, I believe, has a shelf life with today's athletes.

*Full disclosure, I also can't get past his kind of goofy look and big teeth. Feels like we're just inviting trouble again with this guy.

The more I watch UCF, the more I think of Meyer. Well coached in every phase and tons of speed at the skilled positions. That's Frost.

Killins is advertised as the fastest guy in college football. I wouldn't doubt it. The guy is blinding.

Kerwin is at Valdosta State, a Div II team. But if you're thinking of him, you've gotta wonder why he was at JU for so long before moving up one division. I can't think of anyone else.

Kerwin stayed in Jax because he didn't want to move his kids around as is typical. As soon as his youngest, his son graduated from JU (as star QB) Kerwin parted company with JU to start his HCing where he could recruit with scholarship offers. His results will take a few years to be judged?? But who knows with so many HC failures generating odd searches from schools taking more gambles??

I also don’t know what his ethnicity is. Not that it matters, but I feel like he should be the subject of the next 23andme commercial.

Frost comes from a good blood line. His mother was in the Olympics.

they lose... no trying to coach for a perfect season or new years six bowl. we can get this figured out asap.

Hmmm, on one hand i agree, but on the other wouldn’t it look bad to lose to SMU?

I watched UCF play tonight and I am impressed with Frost's coaching. Having a team play their hearts out when they know that your coach will probably be gone after this season is hard to do. SMU had all the makings of a trap game with all the distractions this week for UCF. Hell our boys could not show up today to prove to the next coach (whoever that might be) that these coaches still left might be worth hanging onto.

And Randy go for it. This point in the season we don't care if we lose every game, try something anything I want to see some life in my team.

Was in an Ale House in Orlando last night. Everyone around me at the bar feels like Frost is gone to Gainesville. Kinda felt bad for them. For a second anyway.

^lol..I would feel bad for them for about 2 seconds...

Whoever we get, we need a CEO who is involved and knowledgeable in every aspect, who sets the compass and attitude for the organization. We don't want anyone who flits around having lunches on the expense account while others try and manage their jobs.

Seems like stricklin gets it and he will fight the facilities battles while the coach, you know, actually coaches. It should also be clear after this debacle that any position coaches should, like you know, maybe have an idea what there positions are supposed to do.

Go Gators

Bring in Chip Kelly and call it a day. There is not a one of you in your right mind that could say we wouldn't win. I know he has whatever going on with the NCAA, but was that not earlier on in his career? That's just my take guys.

Screw them, they got they’re 15 minutes of fame, now let us have our 6-8 years of dominance. Hopefully longer

I think he’d do great here, just don’t think he’d be here long. Also would have to question how motivated he would be, up and comer like Frost is really eager to reach the top of the mountain and would likely be here longer.

I just think coaching at a hot bed like Florida would keep him motivated. And 8 also think the lure and pressure he would get from family and folks in Nebraska, he may leave sooner thamany people would think. A guy like Kelly being here would be a special situation for him with all the speed and top athletes would keep him here for a long time. Just my opinion.
