you know, I have read his posts and part of me feels sorry for him. Someone commented they wondered if he was on the spectrum. I wonder as well. if nothing else he appears socially awkward. I dont want to pile on because who knows?, plus theres already alot of meanness between humans.

Everyone is on the "spectrum" and it is very disrespectful to comment on those sort of things on the internet. Many who do are projecting their own issues.

Yes, we're all ultimately on the same team. But those who run the message boards have completely different philosophies on how to do it. It's like night and day.

That's the beauty of running a business. I get that as I run one myself. I certainly have different methodology from my "rivals", but actually like quite a few of them.

Just move along to one you like, and let the other one be for the ones who like it.

Tilly, you don't own the board so you don't make the rules. I get it. I have been an admin on another board for years and their rules are pretty strict on language and such and therefore, I have enforced those rules as they have asked me to. I think many of the rules are dumb and should be revisited and relaxed but I don't own the forum. There are probably dozens of times I could have banned someone and didn't and there are a few I wish I hadn't. The first time I have ever seen your site was when I followed the link over there. I don't know the first thing about your forum and really don't care.

What really irks me is this byrd guy left your forum and said some negative things about it from what I recall and joined over here and got his ass handed to him and then when he couldn't win a single argument or properly stand his ground, he runs back to you crying like a little bytch. I would watch him if I were you and wouldn't hesitate to ban his ass if he steps out of line. Cry baby.

It still seems petty that we would be so concerned and go on the offensive against some looney-byrd that went and complained somewhere else. I think we come off as overprotective and/or butthurt.

Regardless, this is your board, you shape the culture, and I am clearly in the very small minority regarding how we ought to act.

Maybe one day I'll learn not to share my take on stuff like this. ...but I doubt it. I'd rather share and get the flogging.

I'm sorry, but there was no rule on your board that said saying a coach needs to coach better or a walk on needs to play better gets you banned....that is a complete falsehood that the people banned broke stated rules (I'm sure many did though). Many of us who were banned broke no rule and was harassed by power hungry mods attempting to silence normal comments that make a message board a message board.
