I guess one time some day one of these "I am going to shock the world" guys might actually set things up so people will be shocked when he announces. I guess Henderson did that at least to some extent, but when it is your what 3rd commitment you have less cred.

He was asked what he wants to see from his Florida trip is “if the people there are real and genuine”. Like what lol. You committed to Mullen more than two years ago. You visits him and camped with him 4 years ago. You’ve know him and most of his staff for a long time. The kid either hates Mullen or trolling

Or he is setting it up to shock the world when he announces. That makes more sense than either of your hypotheses. If he hated Mullen, the it is unlikely he would both be invited and come to visit. If he were trolling, then he would pretend he had high interest in UF.

Now he could have slight interest in UF and think why not visit them and then ultimately pick AU or UTn or FSU because he likes them better. But if he is up to something, then I would guess it would be more likely positive for UF than negative.

You recruit a whole bunch and can only sign a few each year, so it makes sense to not expect to sign any one player.

Some insight on the Bama numbers.

The 2017 class featured Jarez Parks, who was 118 in the nation and famously took a gray shirt. This means that his scholly counted toward their 2018 class.

Bama's 2018 class signed 20 recruits + 1 for Parks. This leaves them room to take 29 this year. This of course is assuming that Bama did not receive any transfers in 2018, which I'm not aware that they did.

They currently have 28 commits, including Bogle. Bogle is rumored to have been asked to gray shirt. If he does, they have 2 spots open. I'm not sure if Bogle would be able to refuse to gray shirt or if he's already agreed.

So I think it's safe to say they already have two guys lined up to take.

Bogle isnt what we need. We have signed several 200lb pass rushers already.

Yeah, Elam, MAR, and 2 more 4* DL would make this an outstanding class. Sadly, it isn't looking good for getting 4* DL. At best I think we find a couple of solid 3*.

Yeah, you guys missed the point on Bogle completely. He is critical to Bama’s ability to sign an extra recruit. If he won’t gray shirt and Bama still wants him, that could open up an opportunity with a SDE.
