I agree neither should have been a feature back, but 3000+ yards, 6+ YPC,19 TDs and All SEC isn’t “terrible”. And 2 years with Tebow, then I suppose it was Brantley/Reed/Burton/Driskel/Brissett that were striking fear into opponents’ hearts. Rainey had 861 rushing and 381 receiving in that mess his senior year and was All SEC for special teams.
They weren’t calling plays, promoting Addazio or hiring Weis & Pease.
