Right, I did not say this was new. My original example was back when Calipari took the UK job.
Didnt he leave Memphis on probation?

Every team has coaches change jobs. The kids haven't been allowed to decommit or transfer.

The probation violations and penalties associated therewith seem to be the the ones they grant.

No on the probation, that came after Calipari was at UK, but it was soon after. It had nothing to do with the releases.

Again this is somewhat interesting trivia, but the point is it is possible, if rare. That was my point about the OU QB signee. It might be a long shot but there is a slight possibility that the OU QB signee could go elsewhere.

Well, wiki says it was in May 09 when the charges were formally announced and no doubt the charges were already underway at least several months before. No doubt Memphis wasn't fighting much and the NCAA viewed that as part of the punishment as they did with USC that time. Waivers are usually determined in the early summer.

As for the OU signee, he would likely take the "fraudulent inducement" path IMO, that he wouldn't have signed if he had know or something like that. If he leaves. Not sure why he would when he is only looking at one year behind an experienced senior.

There is a cbs sports interview in which he says that he is visiting Bama this weekend, then LSU, then Ole Miss. Also talks about recruiting for MSU. He is the guy I most wanted, but it doesn't seem likely.
247 has him going on OV's to LSU, Ole Miss and Oregon.

Rumblings that Nick Cross could flip to PSU. If so their class won’t even finish top 20

Libertarian LOI philosophy? Can signees transfer to play at the school the departing HC is headed for?

Any word on Travis Jay? I see he’s visiting tomorrow. Chatter around clown town is of a possible flip to the good guys.
