He is the best they can get? Do they know what a midline is? Geeze.

Not the best ... but they could do worse. Its friggin USC. Who wants that job? An up and comer??? Hell no. Only people who will take that job or those that are currently in debt. I think they could actually do a lot worse.

I agree he's pretty much as good as they can get. They are a perpetually 5 to 9 win team, that's just the way it is.

They could do worse I am sure but they seem to be willing to do better. They have spent 50 mil on new facilities and will likely throw some cash around for a better coach eventually.

It is USC. They can afford to get more than what they are capable of getting. It has to take 2nd chancers or comebackers. USC will never be able to recruit against UGA and Clemson for what little in-state talent there is in SC and they aren't going to draw a lot of out of state recruits.

Well ... given their track record ... I guess they will be contacting Butters?
They could hire Mike Leach. I would be fearful of USCe with Mike Leach.

Really? You would be fearful of a Leach led USCe? Its USCe. They don't have the personality to start something and a guy like Mike Leach is nothing but flash. He would get ate up from the grass up in the SEC.

If you're USCe, you would rather have Muschamp than Leach?

Pretty good if you ask me. I want chump to stay.

Really? Pretty good? SOS is probably the best they can ever do and they got lucky to have him. Again ... another coach coming back to the league in debt. I love SOS, but that is exactly what SOS was at USC. It is probably the best years they will have for a while since UGA and Clemson are rolling right now. SOS are the glory years. And ... I think they might have got an SEC East out of it but I can't really remember. That is their glory years. :flush:

Does it really matter between the two? They are both tards who couldn't get it done at a University that recruited itself but somehow they are to be feared when they step on campus in Columbia. I'd love for them to get Leach and watch that program go in the toilet.

So SOS was a failure there? He needed the job?

No ... He was a success at USC. Right? And that is my point ... at USC, those mediocre SEC team years are success. And yes ... he needed the job! He got fired from the Redskins and he wanted to get back into the SEC.

What??? Where has Leach not gotten it done? And since when does Texas Tech or Washington State recruit themselves??????

Leach would be such an upgrade over Muschamp it's ridiculous.

All my point was is that they can get someone better than chump and probably will at some point. I don't think that's hard to do. As far as SOS goes he had more success there then ever before. Doesn't mean they ever win it all. Just don't think chump is the best they can get.
