This thread has turned into an excuse for a couple of posters to go at some others they clearly have long standing, deep seeded issues with.

Fellas, you are all adults, if you cant stand someone just say so. Don't be candyasses and hide behind some sanctimonious position, pro or con chris steele. Just let it out... let the hate flow from within you

My concern is that Mullen let Jones play while aware of the rape accusations. The Title IX people are going to skull bang us if he knew about them and played him....a 4th stringer no less. God help us.
Two issues here...
1- This transfer BS is out of control Nationally. Isn't a LOI or when an Athlete signs, a CONTRACT....
2-I'm quite sure a Spring Game doesn't count as a game/playing time. Glorified practice. So if Mullen did know something or not I'm sure the University would have directed Athletics Department and Mullen that he wasn't eligible. It a Glorified Practice.

All coaches should be officially instructed (Title IX oriented) in being super attuned to morality, sexual red flags. All such rumblings supersedes any named player (Chris Steele). As has been seen, it is dangerous to slack on Title IX rumors. If there is slackness here, I am pissed at Mullen and crew for it.

The Transfer Portal is bringing Free Agency to College Football. Its what I hate the NFL over, and it's coming to a College football stadium near you. NCAA needs to rethink this debacle, and fast. Kids will be transferring because they didn't get the ball enough one game. And this Chris Steel thing....Really folks..... "I wan't to move to a new dorm.....I meant RIGHT NOW... I'm transferring"....Boo Hoo. Who's running this world. There used to be rules and binding commitments. Now we pander to thoes who cry the loudest. Good riddance.

When did Steele make sense? When did Steele "warn" coaches of the unsuitability of Jalon Jones as a person - ? an immoral character.

Police report comes out April 6. Officially recorded rape report permanently associates the name of Chris Steele with a double rape crime. I'd want to leave this place behind. How long might this haunt him?

UF spokesperson, Steve McClain claims the athletic dept followed protocol. So, why a month later are we at the mercy of vile speculations. Skip the cowardly protection excuse "ongoing case" dizziness for steering clear. Put forward the truth about UF's handling, using no names, just generic descriptions of University actions as well as strongly vehement verbal condemnation of this "type" behavior. Obviously, this has been left in a contamination form

Two women, verified by rape kits, both decide not to press charges = no crime.?? Isn't that leaning toward "rape isn't such a horrible event"? Can't defense attorneys hold up these (not pressing charges) multiple ocurrances to mollify any punishment? Worrisome.
