Hello gator fanatics, long time reader but this is my first time posting.

After watching them against MSU I'm a little more nervous than I was. However, I think MSU shot themselves in the foot early and could never recover. Didn't understand Moorhead starting the other QB instead of a Schreider who was on fire coming off a Kentucky thumping. With that being said, Auburn did play well and capitalize on the bulldogs mistakes. We will need a huge game out of Zuniga, Greenard, Reese, Hendo, and Wilson on D.

I've got faith in Dan and company to come up with a good enough game plan to get it done on Offense. We probably won't be able to have much success running on that front so we will need to utilize the quick passing game like we did in the 4th quarter of the Kentucky game and the way Kentucky's offense did against us for the majority of that game.
Solid first post. Stay awhile.

I’m not saying they are the worst..but they definitely aren’t great. They’re redneck, and have the egos of bama fans without the trophies.
Methinks you’re confusing them with UGay.

They have Bama mouths with a Vandy trophy case

I haven't seen anything that leads me to believe that we are a top 10 team. But... if we could get our shyt together I like our chances. Pretty damn hard to play football without a functional Oline and we've got one week for the lights to go on with this group. Not a fan of 3rd and GranthDawg either but so far bend-don't-break has worked.
We can beat Auburn depending on lots of intangibles. This is the best of college football; two evenly matched teams - it will come down to emotion and coaching.
LSU has talent but Coach O don't impress me (or Shania Twain) much.
At some point talent has to count for something and that probably happens in Jax.
Then hopefully we don't do anything stupid (I'm looking at you Mizzoo).
But we end up the same as last year, on the outside looking in. Gonna be that way for a long time.

Don't know why you say that (other than the time he didn't say hi to you in the hallway). It's a narrative you keep repeating with no observable basis. Dan is extremely likable. One helluva a lot more than any of our past coaches. Even Spurrier was notoriously uncomfortable in social situations. Meyer was wound so tight he sucked the air out of a room (and I'm not unconvinced he didn't suck my soul out of me the time we met).
Dan is easy breezy at the podium and seems like he would play really well in living rooms. I never get the sense that he's bs'ing or avoiding or spouting coach speak.

I concur.

People are going to put way too much stock into what happened last night. MSU wasn’t even remotely prepared for that game and it showed from the opening kickoff. That plus Auburn was at home. Don’t expect the same thing to happen next week.

Maybe. They will be extremely confident.

Wouldn’t call it crazy - just consistent and it clouds your judgement.

F+ improvement is stark - morehead took an experienced MSU with a ridiculous DL from 16 to 12th. Mullen took Florida from 85th to 11th including a win over MSU. They haven’t updated F+ to include yesterday yet but I’m guessing it isn’t a pretty picture for MSU. Transitive property doesn’t work in cfb but I’m guessing Florida holds its own better against Auburn next week. Guess we’ll see.

Regarding playcalling.... no one will ever agree with a coaches choices 100% of the time. Mullen has made some head scratchers for sure but he’s also owned up to them. Like Spurrier used to. Biggest bonehead move he’s made was Knox over Seider but I doubt he ever owns that one.

I heard in the box repeatedly that play calling was abysmal.

You don't need to ask Gator fans. Just go to MSU forums and ask them. They would take back Mullen back in a heart beat. As far as 2018, they had a near elite D and had an experienced team, and the expectations were higher for 2018 than 2017. They didn't even maintain 2017 performance level. So yes they definitely regressed.

Also other than TAMU, what other ranked team did they beat?

Narcissistic is an odd descriptor. Are you sure that word means what you think it means?
