That’s fine. I like a filet but usually don’t cook that at home. Strip and porterhouse adorned with just salt and pepper have more flavor than a plain filet IMO. Add some lump crab and bernaise to the filet and that’s some good stuff...but I don’t want to go through that much trouble at home so I save that for the high end steakhouse.
