We have some kneejerk fans, I swear. Granthems defense has held its own in every game this year except the 2 where we were clearly out Joe'd by a studded UGA team and an LSU team thats lighting everybody up -Including Saban, wanna fire him? -
We have 2 players on our front 7 that would play for UGA. The rest are 3 star mac specials.
More funny than that is you guys call for a guy who's defense just got lit up by lesser teams to replace him. Champ just let ApSt whoop his rearend and we ran roughshot over Mason's Vandy D... YEAH Give me those guys as DC lol
That’s like saying Mullen is a great coach until we play a good team.

Not whimpering in any corner. Just reading idiotic comments that you and Swamp Dork post and rating them accordingly.

Your question makes zero sense just like your comments that RB coaching is the easiest position to coach.... But, if I semi-understand your question...

I do think Strong sucks as a head coach. But, if a head coach also is his own DC then he should be judged buy his defense as well as the overall team. The head coach is responsible for all aspects of the team, game planning, coaching in-game adjustments, half time adjustments, etc. The head coach owns it all and it is his responsibility to ensure game planning is what he wants. Which is why MooseDump will always fail as head coach. He wants the Defense to look great, doesn't comprehend that the team actually needs to score to win. He wants win every game on the last play of the game. TRob BLOWS as a DC and he is a DC in name only. Wild Willie is the DC at South Carolina.

Grantham sucks. His defense is the type you run when you don't have the best players. It's a BOC defense. Too high of a risk for the return IF you have quality starters and quality depth.

We've played 2 good teams this year. We got our asses handed to us in both games.

The only reason we competed at all was 1) A perpetual non-starter at QB can throw to open receivers 2) a very talented WR group with 4 seniors that can get open. That goes away next year.

Just beat the Leghumpers.

1 loss was to the number 1 team in the Nation, the other to the 5th. Bama couldnt stop LSU from scoring and they have much better talent than we do. We held UGA to 24 points and the Offense laid an egg. 2/9 on 3rd downs? Yeah, all the defenses fault we lost ppffttt. Ok.
2 players on our front 7 would start for UGA and yet we lead the SEC in sacks and led in Takeaways and tackles for loss for a good bit of the season. Yeah, sounds like horrendous coaching to me

The D was clearly horrendous against both LSU and UGA. That's unacceptable plain and simple.

Defense gave up 24 points to a defending SEC East Champ / Top 5 team in the country. Our Offense was 2/9 on 3rd down.. Yeah lets give them a pass instead of saying the team played like ****.

VS LSU, noone has stopped them all season.

Make all the excuses you want. We couldn't get off the field against UGA or LSU and failed at the end when we needed a stop in both games. It is what it is. And BTW, losing to good teams is no excuse at UF.

If you dont like the guy just say its a personal thing. Thats fair. But dont come at me with the "he sucks" when our team is full of Mac Specials who wouldnt start for the good teams we lost to and we still lead the conf in sacks and are in the top end of most defensive categories.

That same Georgia offense scored 17 on USC with the benefit of OT, 30 on pathetic Vandy, 23 on crappy ND, and 21 on Kentucky - Trask did that nearly by hisself in one quarter.

No doubt the offense didn’t help things but the defense could not get off the field. Never gave the offense a chance and turned almost every possession into a must score. They were 8 for 11 on third downs in the first half and 12 for 18 overall - their best performance on critical 3rd down since 2014 against Louisville and Dawg DC.

Recruiting? Is he replacing Mac specials with top tier guys? This year finally has potential but this is the third class he’s responsible for. Bit late.

Hes been here not even 2 full seasons..
Diabate seemed to play well in his first start, looked to be an instant upgrade over Moon.
2 of his OL made their first start together last Sat and looked good
Pitts is a top TE in the nation
Copeland is going to be a top WR for us.
Burney is a good player before he got injured.
Pierce is going to be a very good RB when he's the #1
Elam, Bogle .. Pretty good last I checked.
