It's right there in the name. Ring of HONOR. UM does NOT meet THAT criteria. No way, No how, No thank you. I would not advocate for him to come coach at Williston High School, much less come back and be honored by UF.

If he came clean on all of his misdeeds and I saw real contrition, maybe. But that will never happen.

A little early to be hitting the sauce don't ya think? The "honor" part doesn't mean the person necessarily has any honor.
Should we give back the two championships?

Once he is really retired from coaching, he deserves to be in.
If by retired you mean dead, then OK. preferably after im dead too at least.

He meets a criteria to be considered, but he doesnt meet the basic requirement of the Ring of HONOR.

I was deeply wounded when Urb left instead of delivering a third Natty.
He left 7-5 and built a Conference USA sized team lacking talent at half the positions and had no idea what a competent OC looked like.

Not to mention the flaming pussy couldnt manage to get from his bed without a fist full of barbiturates.

Do we credit Mullen with getting us the two Nattys?

Urban may have the morals and personality of a used car salesman, but he also has two national titles as head coach. The question isn't if, it's when he is induced into the Ring of Honor.
Agreed. The timing is the key. He doesn't need to be in the ring of honor if he's coaching at Notre dame or usc or some shcit. I think it would be more appropriate when he retires.

Think of the "artists" that got their star on the Hollywood walk of fame. It's ridiculous.
In that context, Urban Meyer certainly deserves it.
In my opinion, only great Gators deserve to be in this category, and there are many more to be mentioned before we ever get to Urban Meyer.
I wouldn't have a problem with him getting in, but there are a lot of others to be considered before him.
He certainly did his part.

Being eligible doesn't mean he gets in.

plenty of people are eligible for the baseball Hall of Fame who aren't in it.
