it’s 7am and this is what I wake up to see. Painful. At least I can’t smell the bacon.

Looks great, NV!

Marinated Beef tenderloin from the egg. Topped with shrooms sautéed in butter, garlic and sage, with parsley added at the end. On the side are oven roasted onion potatoes (new golden) and buttered peas. Pinot Noir would have been the perfect accompaniment, but out of respect for @NVGator I went with a Wash state Cab instead. (Truth be told the bottle was already open.)

Glad you came over to the dark side?

I think when I first got mine it was used at least once a day for a week or two. Now it’s only 4-5 times a week.
I had planned on making some crab cakes for the misses and I but the kids had a friend for a sleepover at the last minute and they wanted breakfast for dinner. I was really looking forward to my first breakfast on it. Didn’t expect it to be at night but man did it make it a whole lot easier.

Pulled some grouper and shrimp out of the freezer and found a recipe for stuffed fish. Didn’t have all the ingredients so I substituted some things. Added a chopped jalapeño for spice and topped it with homemade sundried tomato. Roasted purple, red and Yukon potatoes from the garden. Turned out well and a nice change to fried fish and shrimp.

100% wife meal, I worked yesterday.
sv duck breast, could’ve been seared a little hotter and she didn’t let it sit in the fridge prior to cooking but the meat was perfect. she does some kind of red wine concoction to put on it that’s super tasty. Paired with Kentucky gentlemen/coke zero

Those Maytag dishwashers do a great job processing that blue cheese and truffles. That's a little known kitchen secret.

Went by the local butcher and seafood shop on the way back from fishing today :( cough ,

friends coming over so steak on the “country sioux vee” ;) , okay on pellet smoker until 120, then to the Blackstone which had been seasoned local bacon. Blackened shrimp, chorizo and datil pepper sausage. Okay there was some green stuff, but who cares. And wine, pfffft.

While I fully admit to being one of the GCMB wine slobs, a nice single malt like Macallan is a perfectly acceptable substitute.

My old Akorn rusted through on the bottom. It lasted me 5 good years and is basically everything I need in a smoker so I pulled the trigger on a second one. Got it in the mail the other day and put it together last night. As I’m on to literally the LAST bolt to attach the lid, the the “hole” (basically a riveted nut that’s in the metal shell) that the bolt screws into just turns with the bolt and can’t be secured. Now I get to do the tango with Home Depot this afternoon. Motherfuchers

Sucks, hope they resolve it to your liking.
