The report from BMF is pretty much what we would expect after a loss to a Mark Stoops coached slightly better than average UK team.
His report was of BEFORE the game.

My report is that I both sat in an area with nothing but Big Bulls (they had these weird "uniform" tshirts) and ended up partying with another group of bulls in the RV lot (the 400k plus type RVs, not some damn teepee on a Harbor Freight trailer), and they are all very negative about Mullinz BEFORE the loss.

Keep in mind the alums hated this hire from the beginning. Only a few of the people who somehow don't remember the Creyer years didn't know what Mullinz was. He is the Zook of this decade.

Donk I referenced the fact that it was surprising that the issues were surfacing after the win over UT. see below.

If anything it was kind of surprising to hear that the locker room issues were there before the UK game

A couple of points and I am in no way doubting BMF’s story just sharing my own.

(1) Several years ago (The Jacoby Brissett years) there was a thread attacking him. Poster had “inside” info that Driskel won the job in the preseason and that Jacoby was a major cancer working hard to divide the team. Now…today I don’t personally know a single player. But at that time I personally knew all the Palm Beach kids and several of the South Florida kids. Knew them as having coached them or against them. Knew them as being friends with their parents. Nothing in the posters story was remotely true. In fact Muschamp nearly had a mutiny because nearly the entire squad felt Jacoby won the job fair and square. Muschsmp trotted Jacoby out their for ONE play to start the season and then handed the job to Driskel. It got ugly but Jacoby was never involved in it.
(2) 2nd point….as a longtime coach I never put too much into what a parent whose kid isn’t playing says because typically there is more to the story. In this case I would agree with the parents view on getting the young kids in the game at the tail end of a blowout but at the same time DM does get a lot of kids in the game….in fact often too many. DM is also guilty of focusing way too much on seniority.

Zook was better liked by the boosters and support staff. Zook wanted and worked to succeed, can't say that about disco Dan.

He’s never been a Mullen fan if I recall correctly.
The constant sunshine pumping says otherwise. No one is a mullen fan on this board. Everyone says they hated the hire, but some continue to make every excuse in the book for him despite qualifying each post with the proverbial, "he wasn't who I wanted but..."

Meh. Many of us are just as bad as the pumpers. When someone tries to be positive we take it as blind support and label them pumpers. Truth is, we have damn few pumpers on this site. Corch, the window-licking multiple personalities of boss and about a half dozen or so more. I wouldn’t call Marine one of them…just a huge fan that tries to remain positive about the program until a change is made.

meh, we have our opinions. Mine is that it's an excuse for every failure. That's pumping in my book.

It’s what makes the portal and transferring in general so dangerous for players. At the time he was deciding this, there was no Bowman and Wright was barely known. Then add in both Pierce and Davis coming back. You just can’t expect teams to standby and do nothing roster-wise(although this staff isn’t far from it) while you get your paperwork in and land on campus. By the time you’re even close to ready, the roster you were drawn to looks wildly different. He may have a shot next season, but I’m not sure how different that is from what he may have had at um. My only concession with him was that I think he wanted to come here all along and JM botched it. Hopefully he sticks it out.

Sounds like you really wanted the guy and now disappointed. I always knew what we were getting which is why I didn’t want him. In retrospect I can’t gloat….I wanted Frost and really thought he was the one to lead us forward. Bad call.

But yes…..always a pumper. Pushed back a work trip from Friday til next Monday solely to throw a Gator party this Saturday. Can’t help myself.
