We pack the stadium with 80k+ fans several times a year who are invested enough to drop at least a couple hundred to see a game. If we had 80k put in $20 a month that would be $19 million and we'd hit Napier's target.

I have invested plenty over the years buying tickets and buying concessions and buying shirts and hats and spending hours of my time watching the last 10 years of shvt shows. Its not my responsibility to pay these kids a dime. The whole NIL thing will be the downfall of college football and its happening pretty quickly. If the scholarships and other perks arent enough then screw it.

In all seriousness, Rog is right about the total schyttshow that CFB has become with "student athletes" (a significant portion of whom are sub-literate jabronis destined for a life of crime) openly collecting BIG $$$ they haven't done a damn thing to earn. CFB has fully embraced batschytt crazy, with its sights now seemingly set on total self-destruction at the earliest possible moment.

I mean....I busted my ass in HS and wouldn't have the opportunity nor have you so saying something like this is a little inaccurate.

And to be clear, I think this **** is out of hand, especially when you have uncommitted kids selling their self-created logo on merchandise that targets a certain schools fanbase.

I don't doubt for an instant that you and untold others (both then and now) applied yourself to the best of your abilities while in HS. But none of that gave any of us an avenue to instant riches before we even made it through our senior year in HS. Throw in the laxity of entry standards at many schools for the "student athletes" who, under other circumstances, would never even sniff an admissions letter from a top five public university (many of whom will be the primary beneficiaries of the great cash grab) and I'll respectfully but firmly stand on the "accuracy" of my post. But it is just my opinion, after all, and I don't expect everyone to necessarily agree with it.

All of them. Could any of them actually get into Florida without playing a kids game? If you want a specific example go look at Cox; dude was celebrating a rival in Miami getting a guy we were after then when called out about it "We just entertainment for you" excuse came out...dude you get paid to play a freaking game...

AR doing 105 in a 60 is entitlement. Could have killed himself or others but that sure doesnt matter to him does it. I can do this all day.

I aint about giving thousands of dollars to guys just because they can run fast and jump high....and for the thugs comment...go look at how many of our amazing "ambassadors" have been arrested in the last decade for things like credit card fraud, etc...

Then why are you here? Its a gator message board where football is the predominant topic. Its a free country and people can do and say whatever they want, but seriously, how can you cheer for a team of people if you truly feel that they are just a bunch of scum?

I did way worse things than going 105 in a 60 when I was in my late teens and early 20s. Id say most people have as well. It must be so sad to be as perfect as you. Im sure when you die, you will ascend to heaven and God will unleash the plagues.
