Great thread. I will read again.

10-3 as I predicted last summer and never wavered. We had a great season that was massively entertaining. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

We have made great progress. A new culture. We have a great coach. We have a QB that threw for 2500 yards and 24 TD’s v. just 6 interceptions!!! Made tremendous progress in an offense Mullin said before the first game would take him until the opening game of 2019 to truly understand. He is nowhere near his ceiling. Will be even better next year and so will EJ.

Recruiting is on the upswing. The future is very, very bright.

Spent the past year reading all the expert analysis of how bad everyone and everything was. Right up to this bowl game.

It was all wrong. Go Gators!
Good to see you back!

I am not either an offensive or defensive coordinator but, I was recruited by UF as a FS and RB... Unlike you, I know what I see on the field... And, for all you facepalm's and dislikes..perhaps I should watch a game with you and break down the issues???? However, from most of your posts I would be wasting my time trying to teach you the game of football...

Break the game down...what went wrong??? Tell me please...enlighten me!!! Where did we suck??? Pass protection? Since you’re a running back recruited by UF you should know! Did our secondary break down? You were a safety....so you should know....tell me what was bad about this game

He’s going to get the players (don’t ask donkey) and yes we will compete next year for the east
Let's hope he uses this momentum well. We certainly need some recruiting improvements.

I've stated numerous times that bowl games don't tell you all that much about a team. I won't say they're meaningless, and there are some definite exceptions, but the win or loss often has a ton of contributing factors that may be different if played in the regular season or for a title. That said, I think the way UF won is impressive and should go a long way toward building momentum and rebuilding the brand.

As for the starters being out, it certainly helped. But the fact that this game was already 3 possessions going into the 4th tells me we could've won regardless. Obviously not with that score, but we played well enough to win nonetheless. Just like a modest loss to them after the 2015 season wouldn't have been as alarming. It was the way they manhandled us that said a lot about the direction each program was going with their current coaches. Same here.

Solid way to end the season for Mullen and the staff.
