According to my calculations with the current commits/signees and the returnees we have 85 players. We need some people to transfer out.
Here’s a question for the round table: assuming CDM signs some more ‘cruits, who gets “processed?”

A bunch of Butters Specials.

Redshirt juniors who have already spent their 4 years: Rayshad Jackson, Luke Ancrum, and Kylan Johnson.

Three years guys who dont produce: Trash, McWilliams, Lenton, and Wells.

Id really like to see Taylor and Stiner on the outbound list.

So got to ascertain, how many of HCs 1-4 are better player developers than Mullen? better game callers than Mullen?
This is a great point. I think we can all agree about the importance of getting a roster full of blue chippers, but can it be good enough to be around #5 in the rankings (but never 1 or 2) if you are the better play caller and developer? Recent history seems to say no, but logic would seem to say yes.

I would think Wells is gone. Plenty of RSJR that we can cut bait with

We need real players, not "roster fillers." Elam goes without saying - he is a vital part of a strong finish. And at least 2 additional big bodied DLs are also a must, three would be even better. And if MAR is still in play, they need to create a spot for him too. The bottom feeders who can't contribute have to go. Welcome to the Darwinian world of modern CFB. We're competing with ruthless people, the charity ward is closed.

Supposedly those in the program think we have Elam

We gotta get rid of the dead weight that’s for sure but we gotta recruit like we’re going to make room...the guys that aren’t gonna be part of a three deep need to be processed out regardless

Hate to sound redundant, but diwan black isn't counted yet, if he qualifies he's signing on nsd. Plus Mullen was looking at the dline grad transfer from west coast

And fuller

My gut tells me Trask is gonna go somewhere he can actually play and contribute. I like him and I think he could really help some program.
