Jahmyr Gibbs update: Dalton defeated South Cobb 62-7, so Gibbs wasn’t called on to do much. He “only” had 170 yards on 19 carries. He did have 5 TDs however, giving him 34 total in 7 games.

You could argue “bad” relative to our competition - which is what really matters.
We’re 6th in the SEC currently, 2nd in the east.
Tennessee is one behind us.
Miami is 3 back.
FSU and Michigan are both in front of us.
We play 4 of the teams in front of us and the one directly behind us.
I certainly wouldn’t call that “good”. Depending on how you want to argue it, we either meet expectations and everyone we beat in front of us plays below theirs or we’re playing above our talent and its a mixed bag above us. I think its the latter.

Well this is informational. So I ran the numbers using # of scholarship players to get an average player rating. I didn't reorder it because I'm lazy. But if you consider our average roster talent thinks look more hopeful. Of course lacking 7 players compared to Bama/UGAy matters but look at Clemson who is also limited in schollies.
Also it negates the total talent differential with LSU.

¿?????????¿ Wut are you saying? That we are roughly even with Clemson? I know that that can't be true. I have been told often on here that our recruiting is so bad that we can't possibly compete with them.

We could use some of their safety talent. Don’t know why kids keep going there. The facilities suck like ours. Coaching sucks. Guys aren’t getting drafted.

He’s a win away from 0.500. Are you going to be ok if your narrative gets busted that badly today?
Also, he had the 25th ranked talent in 2017... good for 10th in the SEC. So his talent might’ve been better than the national average but it was below average in the SEC. Relative to your peers is all that matters, not nationally.

Well, you got the kids that hate UF no matter what, and you got the kids that love F$U no matter what and you got the kids that are all about the color of the coaches skin. After that though I have no clue why anyone would go to FSU. For the whores at FAMU? Liberal law enforcement?
