Holy mother of God. They must love his 8-13 record. I just don't understand doing something like this when a coach already has multiple years left on his deal.
All this is going to do is jack up the buyout next year.
Mullen has kind of done well here too! He’s just not going to get the athletes at Nebraska that he had at UCF to make his offense go. Plus he’s playing actual defenses now.
Although I think Mullen was the right coach, Frost would’ve done very well here.
Your problem is you can’t think like them. Wait, that’s not really a problem. Never mind. How can they possibly look at the current state of things and act like the future is bright? What a train wreck.
They would be better off hiring Pelini back.
Oh...ok then.
@CFTalk: Nebraska announces two-year extension for Scott Frost Nebraska announces two-year extension for Scott Frost
Underrated point. And seriously - the dichotomy is a bit troubling. There is no discernible difference in performance relative to competition (recruiting or on field) but one is fired while the other is extended.Love this. It will be used by the media as a cudgel to smote FSU for firing WiLLLLLLLie.
The Huskers would be even better off digging up Bob Devaney and going at it Weekend at Bernie’s style for the next seven years. They would be better off hiring Pelini back.
