I haven't been following anything closely, but to me the kid looks good, if raw, on film. He needs to work on his get off (it's good but not elite) and plays higher than I'd want him to - but he's a grown man once he gets going and has a great motor. He looks like he'll be able to pack more muscle on that frame. I like him.

With respect...Most rankings and polls vary wildly. Especially at this stage.

I much prefer the eye test and from various perspectives. Again...I look forward to reading what You, Net, J, Cover-2 and a few others see in the coming weeks.

If we could just avoid the circular firing squads and eating our own...this might be a fun year.

My guess is that it’s just not a banner year for DL. In the 2011 class for instance, Driskel was the #1 Pro-Style QB and only a 4*. So it’s all relative. Where they rank and how many stars they’re given are, and should be, separate.
