I’m not mad at you :)I should have clarified that that was a half a pig butchered into chops, shoulder, ground pork etc.
Ground pork doesn’t get nearly enough credit for flavor and versatility. 50/50 with ground beef is the basis for some great meatballs as well as burgers. Some thick chops done right can often rival a good steak. My departed FIL would often remark as a part of the blessing when my MIL would do a pork roast and gravy (which was out of this world) “Lord, I ‘preciate this hog!”
