Read it last night; kind of funny what fans sent him in the past. He also deserves to suspend himself; I read both that article and the one where he picked Florida to lose; gave no reason for it. Basically click-bait at its finest.

I did read it and all I can say is there is nothing there but the same self-serving tripe that is Bianchi's trademark. Sorry I wasted my time knowing who wrote it. Too bad he doesn't suspend himself forever.

Living in Gainesville in the 90's, I remember Bianchi getting people riled up from time to time. Can anyone tell me who the writer was before him in Gainesville and why they left?

Bianchi is a rabble-rousing jerk, but at least he can actually write. Pat Dooley couldn't hold Bianchi's jock.

During my time in Gainesville, even with the internet, I never heard of Bianchi or Dooley. I couldn't afford a newspaper other than the Alligator. I'm curious, did you buy a Sun every week? How did you know of them?

I don't want to be a hypocrite, and this is why I'm self-imposing a one-week suspension on picking football games. This is going to be tough because I've been making weekly pigskin predictions for 25 years. In short, I have become a football-picking junkie.

My parents got the Sun daily. My dad (oxking) always liked Bianchi. He never takes him as seriously as so many on here.

My memory serves me correctly, hey replace the great Jack Hairston. I loved Jack and never understood why he left. There were rumors about a dispute of some kind.
