I think his style of play here may be slightly different than it was at ULL. From the looks of some of the games from Arizona st vs ULL, looked like he leaned on the passing game a little more. If I had to guess, he'll probably cater what he has to work with. At asu he had a stud wr and a qb that could sling it. And they got the ball to wr a pretty good bit. At ULL they obviously had a big oline and some solid rb's so they leaned on that. I think we'll be able to keep up in shoot outs just fine from the looks of his pac12 days.
I hear what you are saying T, but this sounds like the rationale that a lot of people had with the Butter's hire. He was just this way because of the talent. Until we saw that the Alabama version of Butters was Butters. Not saying that Napier is Butters, but like Butters he did ask for a commitment from the administration before coming on. Unlike Butters Napier appears (from afar) to be a dude that understands that the life blood of College football is relentless recruiting.
I want to believe in this hire, but I'm in a very much wait and see mode. I don't trust the talent evaluation of this administration.
