Only difference is every 4 or 5 star player in the southeast knew who Kirby was. I'm betting less than 5 have ever even heard Napier's name. He may be an elite recruiter like Kirby but Kirby had a hell of a head start when he started recruiting at UGA vs Napier starting out on Gainesville. Just sad as hell if he is the hire he's the best we could do.

If he leaves after a year I don't mind. The fact that Billy would select a top OC like Herman is a sign that he will delegate play calling (his only weakness basically) to someone else. For me that is big. I hope it happens.

I hope like hell he can recruit like everyone is saying. I watched the 2nd half of his game today, and I was less than impressed, but I can't judge him on that half of football alone. I'll watch his game next week, supposedly he'll be announced by Monday.

Herman was the reason OSU ripped open and beat Alabama and won their NC in 2014 and he did it with a 3rd string QB..He is a really good OC.
