My issue just comes down to the scheme we choose to employee for our offense. Simply put it is predicated on the offense line being better than the defensive line, and then hoping to trick them to dedicate to stop the run so we can flood the zone with a pass. If the dline is > or = to the oline the whole thing falls apart. There is no plan B because the whole passing Offense is based on subterfuge and smoking mirrors. This makes the path to Victory very narrow, and why, in a season and a half, we have executed approximately one effective two minute drive. If we don’t have the threat of the Run, our pass game is wholly ineffective. It’s the exact opposite of the approach that has resulted in championships at Florida, and I am afraid it has a ceiling of 8 to 10 wins consistently based on how many defensive lines we simply out talent.
