Just a few updates on what our staff is up too...





Will update when we find what other commits to other teams we are chasing after...

We have 3 DBs committed. Toney might play corner, but that is a couple of years down the road. While we do need 1 or 2 more DBs, we need some f'in DTs. What is he doing about that? Here is who we'll have next year,

Tanner Rowell (walkon, 275lbs)
Taven Bryan
Cece Jefferson
Luke Ancrum

I list Cece and Ancrum because they have played DT at some point this year. Basically, we'll have 2 guys for next year unless I'm missing someone. Mac is a joke. He's taking Chump's destruction of the gator program and building on it. We could move a guy like Riles, but it usually takes time to learn how to play a new position. It is doubtful he'd be able to contribute.

He's just switched the lack of recruiting along the LOS to the other side of the ball. Other than that its wash, rinse, repeat.

We also have Edwards (JUCO) coming in as an Early Enrollee (unless he flips to another school, God help us!). He's over 300, so we'll have 4 true DTs (w/ Clark, Bryan, Riles, and Edwards). CeCe will play the Bullard position (both inside and outside) and Polite will play DT - hopefully over 280lbs (ideally over 290, but he's only going to be a true sophomore).

Why on earth a HS DT wouldn't want to come here is beyond me. You'd think they'd be line up to play here. Any 290+ pound HS DT, no doubt, WILL play next year as a true freshman. They may not start, but they'll get a lot of PT (look at the true freshman this year at DE).

The big issue here is this: this staff is going to get fired....and they are going to leave BOTH sides of the ball in bad shape. The next guy is really going to have his work cut out. It's a shame. But we hired 2 dud's in a row. "The lost decade...."

Add in the fact they let Scott walk because he's to big, and he's walking right into the arms of FSU to console him. If you are dying at a position you worry about putting them on a diet when they get on campus.

You know exactly what I meant. It's perhaps our biggest position of need and we get a pretty damn good 4 star DT and we allow him to flip. Doesn't say much for this staff.
