I do completely agree with Durty on this one. For our mowers that you run every week, the ethanol is probably not a big deal. I have put regular gas in mower for 7 years now, but it is ran for at least an hour every week of the year. The problem is the ethanol is hydroscopic, pulls in water, and totally destroys any equipment that sits idle. Lawncare guys are ok, because they use their equipment all day long every day, constantly putting in fresh gas. Your two month break is right at the limit.
Where us home guys get really screwed is in all the side equipment that might get used once a month. Your weed eaters, edgers, etc. I would highy, highly, highly recommend you put trufuel into those. Ethanol free. 93 octane. Already pre-mixed with oil. (just make sure you get the correct mixture for your brand equipment)
