We were in the toilet when Urban left. Will Muschamp flushed it.
What did Chumps contract say?
ESPN confirmed that UCLA bought out Mora's contract for $12M dollars. To me, that sounds like a school with plenty of MONEY and a school with a plan to pay whatever it takes to get who they want. You don't willfully pay someone $12M to go away if you aren't willing to pay a LOT MORE to get someone to come to your program.Anyone see Neuheisel last night? He coached at UCLA and admitted they simply don't have the financial resources of the top programs. Now, if a booster did come along and promise a ton of money, what are they saying? Are they going to build Chip a stadium on campus? Help cover his salary? I'm sure it will help of Chip wants to go to UCLA; if he's truly in the air, its wait and see.
Urbs left us a toilet clogger. Champ pulled the handle and things backed up and overflow. Mac took and upper decker. Clear?
Ahh, the good old days when our football team could outscore our basketball team. For those that want to get your mind off the coaching search, 52-20 is on ESPN Classic
If it was now (cell phones), we would have a similar one of Zook berating the Frat boys.I kinda miss that passion though...

Butters got pissed off when the quarterback completed a forward pass too but he just wasn't likely to punch thingsI kinda miss that passion though...

I wouldn't say Butters got pissed off. Its just that as it turns out, to him, its as difficult a job as an aborigine heading a moon mission.Butters got pissed off when the quarterback completed a forward pass too but he just wasn't likely to punch things
Compare this to UF, and this hurts to say, that waited until the could get rid of JM on the cheap due to his unsubstantiated death threat claims and I would say that UCLA has plenty of money and is willing to spend it where UF may have just as much but is acting as if they need food stamps to keep the doors open. Again, UCLA paid Mora $12M to go away. You don't think they have a damn good shot at CK?
That was one of the apparently many dozens of things listed on the for cause allegations. It just happened to be the one that made the news and was the straw that broke the donkey's back. The only difference the death threats commits made were the $8.9 million in the removal.
