I also think he took some bad advice and perhaps was misevaluated. He's got some talent but he should be playing as a 4-3 DE in rotation for a team that uses a lot of 4-3. He's not quite quick/fast enough to be a straight up speed rush DE/LB and not quite enough of a badass to be a true 3-4 DT....he actually would have been a nice rotational fit in our defense since we still use some true 4-3 fronts. He would have also been able to develop at a better pace here......that said, **** his dumbass for not staying here in state.

No. If I remember correctly, he trolled UF to the very end. What does that say about his character? It spells locker-room cancer imo. He made his decision; it's time to move on.

I trust in Mac. So if he felt that he would fit then I would be OK with it. From the outside looking in I think he's too much of a primadonna and could hurt the team but that's all speculation.
Saban is well-known for bringing in disjointed and troublesome players and making it work. Similar to Belichick. I'm not sure if Mac is from the same mold.
I don't think he would work here judging Macs brief history with players and BS either. Mac has already walked several players including a very talented Defensive lineman, Willis, and a RB who thought his sh!t didn't stink after one decent bowl game.....
Probably. It seems he's more interested in chemistry while Saban is more interested in stockpiling as much talent as you can so that he can just cycle through players. I guess we'll see which is a more effective plan.
I think it takes a balance of both.
Saban and Bama have no soul....and how is it that you hardly ever hear about their players getting into trouble? They either have a 24 hour monitor on every one of them or their players are just escorted back to their dorm if they do get into trouble...Makes it kind of easy to "manage the roster"....

No doubt in my mind about that. I respect what Saban and Bama do on the field but I also hope they burn in hell for the stuff they get away with off the field.....In fact I hope they burn so bad that they burn down the whole stinkin state and take The Barners with them.....
