You call me obtuse simply because you are ignorant. We are currently recruiting 4 dudes that are right at 300lbs at DT.
Name all four with verifiable sources on weight. No 276 and 250 are not right at 300.
we allegedly have a good chance at 3 of them. That doesnt include dexter who just about everyone thinks will play next year outside of you.
Until isn't a fact that he is, it's hope.. trading on hope is what got us where we are today.
You are making statements about these guys and you don't have a good idea how much they weigh. When did rivals weight brown and dexter at 250&276?
Until there is verifiable evidence to prove otherwise, what are we supposed to go on...See above.
We are currently rocking slaton, campbell, carter, dunlap, conliffe and Humphries. All those guys should be 300ish next year. We also have lang at DE I believe who should give (some) size.
Currently we do have 5 guys on the roster at 295 or above... unless you have another source. Carter is 263 according to Floridagators.com roster. I'm sure you have a verified source that is different right? Sorry if I'm not going to go on "SHOULD" be, you don't know how a guy is going to play at a weight until he has played at that weight. An extra 40 pounds could do a lot to some guys joints.

Now the assumption you are also making is that Slaton (seeing a 2-4 round grade) and Campbell do not at least take a look at their NFL prospects. Now I "hope" both return, but you can't plan on that especially with the recruiting cycle that starts the day after NSD ends. Also doesn't take into account injuries and guys who don't pan out, which the guys that don't pan (due to not gaining size, injury, etc..) in the lines is roughly 50%.
