A special time of the year... View attachment 43722 View attachment 43723
I don’t generally like much southern food. But fried okra is my favorite and I would eat that entire plate. Love that it’s not cooked into oblivion and still has its green color. Also not totally caked with breading, which lets it be the star. Incredible looking plate.

Are your sequences in the correct order?Pork, shiitake, and baby bok choy stir fry with soba noodles. It needed some sriracha to punch it up for me - not very authentic I know - but errbody else liked it as is.

We use fish fry mix for the coating.
Did you forget the rule?Kroger had brisket on sale for $2/lb. Cooked one in the oven this morning (not my preference but we no longer have a smoker) and I have one that I’ll grind up for hamburgers. Extremely tender but it didn’t have enough seasoning. Timing was perfect as the son had a slew of kids over so they ate sandwiches, Mac and cheese, bbq beans and watermelon.
I was there…validation enough?Exactly. The wife and I went to the moon tonight and had grilled space llama(mine was slightly over cooked), but oh darn we too forgot to take pictures.
See how that works, CD?
Fine. This is the best I can do to convince you of a dinner that I didn’t take pictures of.Did you forget the rule?
I hate to hear yours was not properly cooked - that sucks. You've built up some cred around here, so I'll take your word for it despite the lack of pics. @CDGator on the other hand? Not a chance, errybody knows how sus she can be.Exactly.
