You had to be there.Ive never understood why we put college players in the ROH for what they did in the pros.
Errict Rhett should be HOF before Emmitt.

One million likesWhat's the point of having a ring of honor if your not letting the most successful coach in the history of the school in? I don't give a **** about how he left, every football coach we've ever had except Mullen has left. Their all paid mercenaries including SOS.
Also one million likesI’d take him back tomorrow and anyone that says otherwise is a complete moron. He never got us into any trouble with the NCAA, owned our rivals and won 2 of our 3 nattys. Was he paid to win or was he paid to be a saint? IMO, all the clowns after him did a hell of a lot more to embarrass us than he did.
Except Florida paid him to do nothing. He signed an extension, sat out most of the season afterwards and let somebody else coach and then did not Foley pay him $1 million to be an ambassador? So what? You sign a guy to a contract, he fills the cabinets with hardware, then he leaves and you stop paying him. Sounds like a hell of a good deal to me.
Some of you guys act like Meyer signed a lifetime contract in blood, and vowed in the name of Steve Spurrier that he would never take another job.
Rhett is arguably the most underappreciated RB in UF history. I used to love this staple toss play in the Spurrier offense, where the RB would not go wide and cut back.....
He also called himself an adopted hurricane on national TV, left UF out of the most important speech of his life, and decked himself out in Georgia gear & put on social media.Rhett was great no doubt. Almost as good as Emmitt. But Rhett had a suoorting cast. Emmitt did everything by himself. It was Emmitt or nothing. Everybody in the stadium knew he was gonna get the ball and still he broke off long runs.
Damn I hate agreeing with Ox, but on the subject of Urban Meyer we see completely eye to eye.So what? You sign a guy to a contract, he fills the cabinets with hardware, then he leaves and you stop paying him. Sounds like a hell of a good deal to me.

When people say he destroyed the program they are so off base. Coaches who put their program on probation should get that label, not Urban. He left us in great shape & then Foley hired the biggest clown ever, Muschamp.I’d take him back tomorrow and anyone that says otherwise is a complete moron. Sorry you're wrong. McSchitstain was worse than that other chump. When people say he destroyed the program they are so off base. Coaches who put their program on probation should get that label, not Urban. He left us in great shape & then Foley hired the biggest clown ever, Muschamp.
Urban should be in the ring of honor without a doubt.
He brought us 2 NCs in 3 years.
For those people that want to raise the "scum bag" flag ... I give you Pat Dye, Johnny Majors, Vince Dooley, Bear Bryant ... all scumbags in their own right.
IMO ... Foley talked him into staying after he resigned in 2009. Meyer should have stood his ground and left instead of making us endure a year of him being drugged up. That's the only gripe I have.
Meyer left and went to OhhhBooo St.
Get the F*** over it.
(PS...I think Pell deserves an honorable mention too ... He did what the boosters wanted and put us on the map)
EDIT: Forgot Bobby Bowden on the list of scumbags.
he left us with less players than any probabtion team. When people say he destroyed the program they are so off base. Coaches who put their program on probation should get that label, not Urban. He left us in great shape & then Foley hired the biggest clown ever, Muschamp.
