:( @CaseyGator - I hate hearing that. Somehow you have to remind yourself they are better off.

My neighbor in Jax had one of those many years ago. Gotta be the cutest critters on the planet. This was my little girl. Had her 13 years ever since she was 8 weeks old, but had to put her down a few months ago. She actually did look like an Ewok.

I figured you would name your cat Zima
Kali and Zoey.
Thanks for rescuing those animals. All of our dogs are rescues. They are every bit as good as anything you can buy at a breeder. Seems like a travesty to me to breed and sell dogs when there are so many out there that will get euthanized because no one will take them in.Had many in my life but the best still remains the first one me and my wife had together. He was 5-6 at the pound when we found him. Perfectly named Jethro and was a redbone/lab mix. Smart as hell to even if lazy. He thought our son was for him when we brought him home. Never left his side and I have pictures still of him cuddling next to him on the couch as a newborn. Unfortunately he passed away a few days before my sons first birthday in 2013 from a sudden medical issue. That one was hard.
Now we have Ellie May who is a rescued Treeing Walker. Got her in 2011 and she’s the guard dog that runs the house.
Ranger is our 12 year old chocolate lab. We got him in 2015 in one of those situations where his owners were elderly and passed away.
Cheerio came a few months later as a stray Beagle. Was still a pup and was Just supposed to be fostered but he immediately bonded with my son who was 2 at the time.
Unfortunately we also inherited two cats when our old shi**y neighbors moved off without them.
Yes indeed. Rescued animals just have something about them like they know what was going to happen and are eternally grateful for it. Would never go to a breeder again. Thanks for rescuing those animals. All of our dogs are rescues. They are every bit as good as anything you can buy at a breeder. Our yellow lab Birdie hamming it up.
Perfectly imperfect! What a cutie!
This is Figgy, short for Figaro. My daughter wanted a black & white cat named Figaro, just like Minnie Mouse. We got him at Christmas time, and my kids heard the line “so bring us some figgy pudding” from We Wish You a Merry Christmas so the nickname Figgy stuck. As you can see, he has one eye (or as we like to say, a permanent wink), so we also call him our pirate cat.
