This is really, really cool. This is sort of ancillary proof that Coach Mac was a great hire. Foley got him to pay some of his buyout and got another $2mil of it erased in a game we would have paid a team to play anyway. Now in '17 and '18 we have completely upgraded our non-conference schedule (and in '18 on the guise of it being part of a buy out). Mike Bobo will get the thrashing at BHG that he has always deserved. Brilliant maneuvering by Foley.

Mike Bobo, Colorado State eyeing Mountain West crown
Midway through conference play, the Mountain West is up for grabs, and Mike Bobo’s Colorado State program has positioned itself well for the stretch run.
After two 7-6 seasons under Bobo, the Rams are 6-2 overall and 4-0 in conference play this year. Since a 41-23 loss at Alabama in Week 3, the Rams have won four in a row, and that game was a key turning point.
“Even though we didn’t win the game, we did some good things at times, and our guys gained a little confidence,” Bobo told The All-American. “The other thing is we had a bye week after that. With three of our first four against Power Fives, we were a little bit banged up from those games. We got a chance to sit back and get rested, get healthy and then get a plan going forward. The bye came at a great time.”
