I thought they did this the first time, using the ruse of building classrooms as the work around for stadium renovations.
Funny what the taxpayers will allow with a winning team.Yes, the renovation they did in the 90's was tax payer funded for sure.
That's kinda the point. Its criminole (pun intended) to force tax payers to pay for freaking football stadium improvements. Imagine never having the finances to go to college so you work your whole life hard to get ahead, only to have a portion of your income confiscated to pay for someone else to have a great college athletic experience. The whole thing stinks to high heavens.
This stuff should be paid for 100% by athletic system revenue, and donations. Tax dollars should NOT be funding freaking football, for any school.
The quote tweets on this are great
In fact, KSR’s Matt Jones reports that Tyra wanted to get rid of current football head coach Scott Satterfield and hire Purdue’s Jeff Brohm, but Bendapudi shot it down, which nearly led to Tyra leaving for Tallahassee.
Tyra wasn't thrilled about settling for Scott Satterfield.
What is going on at Louisville? Pure chaos
the dreaded double botch slap. How high are the tally dumpster flames if he turns down f$u and then resigns because he’s so pissed about his current job situation?
This is absolutely beautiful!
Fuchs him and all clowns with a big red clown shoe.Florida State has the #1 recruit committed - Travis Hunter.
Hunter was interviewed and said he wanted to rebuild fsu, back to their former glory.
As much as I hate them getting this kid, you have to respect a kid that goes to a losing team rather than jump on the bandwagon of UGA, bammer or Ohio State.
The kid won the 7A state championship last night. Playing both ways, he shut down the UGA commit at CB and at WR, had 9 catches for 150 yards.

Dude's a damn wet blanket. At what point do we have a serious discussion about letting Homer go?
Actually, his last class was his “bump” class. But, you know, well, Covid. We'll dominate FSU recruiting. Isn't this Norvellllllllls bump class. And what are they ranked? 12th. Bump classes are a pretty good indication going forward. Crystalballs may lock up Miami but we'll have the rest of the state.
