I’m curious as to which sites you prefer & recommend for Gators news & analysis. (I’m thankful that GC gives us a forum to share info. Thank you, Ox!)

247 and Gator Country for general football and recruiting news, **BUT** I take them with a grain of salt, or 12. To get a better feel for what's going on...

Cover2 and Truth for understanding scheme and other on-field analysis.

ltraz for recruit/player raw skill & potential development analysis.

J, Williston and a few others (sorry to leave a few of you out, I know there are more) for recruiting twitter updates and when possible, some ground truth on where a recruit is leaning.

Edit: after looking at other comments, I should add that I don’t pay for the premium content anywhere. The free stuff they offer are totally worth the price I pay and I just have to wait a little longer before the news hits the street, unless someone here leaks it a little early.

Every time someone pays for "insider" info they end up disappointed.

247 aint worth the money. They had no inside information during the coaching search. What they do have is a couple of guys who do talk to the recruits but they dont really give any inside information. They got that que guy who gives a whole lot of info packaged as inside but he has yet to be right about a single thing and always sets himself up for the reason why he was wrong. I dont doubt that he does have a contact on the staff but the way he spins stuff is what gets him in trouble. If he would just give the facts as given to him then it would be a different story...maybe. Will not be reupping that membership. Users there are stupid and annoying.

I think Mark Wheeler at ITG doesn't get enough credit for the work he does. I wish I would have wasted my money there instead of 247. The free stories he gives are very good so I bet his insider stories are good. He is the one that does the stories on what high school coaches said about muLLLLLLen as well as the anonymous player question and answer stories.

I think if someone follows twitter enough then they can get just as good of a feel as what these paysites provide. @Musclepug used to drop a lot of stuff here that was worthwhile.

This board is grounded while the others are not. Plenty of good analysis right here. I do like GNFP.

I like twitter and Gatorwire
Gatorwire has a pretty good read today on the Running back room going into spring practice. Nothing you probably don’t all ready know if you follow Gator football but worth reading none the less.

There's nothing you'll pay for elsewhere that you won't hear here as well at about the same time.

Will Miles at Read and Reaction. He cuts threw the BS and gets to the bottom line with statistical analysis. Doesn't matter what scheme you have if you don't have the horses.

If it’s free, it’s for me.

I actually liked Ox’s podcasts, but it turned out I was the only person who tuned is so he stopped doing them. (Kinda selfish on his part if you ask me.)

Especially after he solicited donations for the equipment to do them. I’ll never forgive him.

That’s why I was happy to sign up as a lifer when Ox nudged me just a bit. This place is like a clipping service for the Gators, politics …. and conspiracy theories.

not to mention-
Recipes, movie and tv recommendations, investment advice and the shenanigans in the Saloon.

Sports Illustrated’s Gators site keeps up with developments pretty well but reads like a freshman journalism student writing for the Alligator - with no editor.

247 and Rivals are my go-to sites for player rankings, and I prefer Rivals.

I have no idea where On3 and The Athletic came from.

Readandreaction.com (Will Miles) is really good, and he’s just a fan who loves crunching numbers and analyzing Gator football.
