Programs rarely tear down existing facilities to start from scratch. No, they just pile the improvements on top of each other like a stack of pancakes at IHOP.
I'm pretty sure if the expert planners at UF had used half of their IQ capacity a dozen years ago, they could have seen that the old Perry Field inevitably had to be relocated away from the Swamp, which to my knowledge has never hosted a baseball game. Maybe a little bit of frisbee, but nothing more.
Wasn't happening. We just kept stacking the projects on top of other projects as they came to mind. Shyt for brains planning.
