It's funny that all these armchair QBs have been giving you sh*t for 3 years about your b*tching (and moaning, btw) that we're undersized....all the "trust the coaches" replies fired back at you....and here we are. Rotating 3 DL's that weigh more than 285lbs (delance, slaton, and carter). Lining up three <250lb "DE's" (Chatfield, Cox, & Moon), LBs that weigh no more than 230....and we have NO depth to speak of.

To Goldkamps' credit, I've been listening to most of the regular Gator podcasts and he's been hitting on the 'players playing out of position' mantra for two weeks now and heavily commenting on how small we are.

This doesnt take an actual fuchsing special skill to do, or even a triple digit IQ. I looked at the list of recruits. Should have 25 guys, 11 offense and 11 defense, maybe 2 or 3 more for problem areas caused by injuries. They didn't recruit DTs or real DEs, for years. Signed only 210-220 pounds blitz specialists.

How is it possible NOT TO NOTICE this? If you are a profession who is employed by UF?

Smurf lines mean no pressure and you get run on. D gets picked apart. Now smurf LB’s... we were warned. Other teams find big guys who can run. We try and bargain hunt guys that can run and turn them into big guys. We survived last year on opponents dropping passes

Sacks are meaningless... QB hurries, QB hits and deflected passed (or blocked view) is important. Sacks are for stats.

BTW... you can consistently disrupt the QB AND play sound, sophicating run D with the same line. Occasionally, you bring the house.

Mullen should have his staff looking at and recruiting every big CC Dlineman out there.

Sacks are meaningless. Taking on an OL or two, holding your gaps, keeping the LBs clean and making a tackle when the RB hits your gap is what is important about playing DL. This should be the minimum requirement for an DL. If you cant do that most of the time, you sit the bench. PERIOD.
