He also wanted immediate playing time, which he probably wouldn't get. No way he beats out VHIII next year and sincerely doubt he could unseat Tabor, Dawson or Quincy.

From what I have read Farrier and Julius were mutual. UF told them they needed to do certain things to be in this class and they didn't do it. The coaches are not worried about the Payton decommitment. He is a replaceable talent and they are confident they will fill the spot. Lewis on the other hand is someone they wanted very talented, but they couldn't offer playing time like others could.

That's unfortunate about Julius. You can't teach speed. Payton is a rising senior so hopefully we can close on some WR talent.

The main reason we accepted Payton's commitment in the first place is to have an in road to his HS where some very talented kids play.

I said kudos. I couldn't care less if we lose DBs. That's the position that all these terrible WRs and backup RBs should be getting moved to. They can still return kicks and punts while being 3rd string CBs.

Sorry. The way you woorded that made it seem like you were coming at me a little bit. Like you say, it stings a little bit to lose Lewis because he is a very good talent but the more room we have for LB's and other positions of need the better. This class just needs time to develop. A lot of kids are in a wait and see pattern right now because our situation with Muschamp If he wins and gets retained we will have a great class. If we lose we need to dump him asap and get a coach in early enough to start working on the recruits.

I really don't care about losing DBs but it's hard to argue that the whole situation is a disaster.

Our AD chose to do this to the program for whatever reason. It was easy to foresee.

Oh. Yeah. I know that. I don't think Law likes Muschamp. At least that's the vibe I'm getting.
