Gators down by 12 at the half, 44-34. Knecht from TN is killing us with 22 of UT’s 44 points.

We're really looking good. Bold move for Golden Boy to go back to White's stand around and dribble offense. We'll see how it works out for him.

This is exactly it in a nutshell in the first half. Tinerc is very good defensively but UF's half court offense is more stagnant than dry paint. Evey time they make a a pass the ball sticks, the player surveys and all he is surveying is 4 guys standing still. Even when a player attempts a dribble drive towards the basket all 4 guys are standing still and not moving to a spot to present themselves for an easy pass or a shot. You are not going to get any decent looks against Tinerc in the half court unless you have significant off the ball movement with a purpose.

Gators down 53-37 at the under 16. Florida not getting any points from runouts, and are clueless in half court offense.

We had a rough opening to SEC play that was front-loaded with the upper end of the conference and most of the rest of the way is a lot easier.

That said, we need to start picking up some wins vs Quad 1/2 teams; and really, really need to avoid these face-plants against top teams.

Florida trims the lead to 12 (was 10) after some sloppy turnovers by TN and some good drives in the paint by the Gators. TN leads 63-51 at the under 12 timeout

Clayton single-handedly sinking whatever attempt at a comeback we were trying to make with turnovers, shooting quick-contested-3s, and missing layups.

Tennessee's lead is back to 19.

Seeing too much Mike White offense, no teamwork or set plays, just wing it. Our local middle school coach just sent players on the court and told them to 'figure it out'. I'm thinking his last name might be Golden.

OTOH, that Knecht kid is lights out. Props where it's warranted, he'll be fun to watch in the pros.
