ATXVol;n287952 said:Really.. you don't think we lack talent as compared to other top teams. Yes Calloway is great, but other than that our WR corp is very weak. Robinson is not consistent enough to be counted on. Our TEs are good. Grier has a ton of potential at QB. We definitely lack talent on the OL.
As far as the D, we obviously are very talented on D, but we are weak at LB with Anzaolne out. Davis has been all over the field, but Morrison looks a step slow coming off of injury. We are so depleted at that position that we have moved a safety down to LB.
Take off the orange and blue glasses... this team is not talented enough to beat the big buys consistently yet. They need more talent at WR and OL .

ATXGator;n287957 said:I don't consider executing on trick plays luck. The fumble... absolutely... actually I might call that a coaching mistake on McElwain's part for not challenging it, but calling and executing a trick play isn't luck... it is using gimmicks because they know they couldn't beat us conventionally. They recognized that and adjusted.
We had to go for it on 4th down 5 times! That is NOT good! Grier was not consistent enough to win a game against better competition. Tennessee is not very good and they are poorly coached.
Our offense has not performed consistently in the last 2 games against lower tier SEC opponents and I'm supposed to be confident that we can hang with an Ole Miss team that beat Bama at Bama?
Sorry for being objective.
No man, we're going to win at home. We're going to find out how the East stacks up against the west. I have a feeling UF and UGA win. UT losing to Ark at home wouldn't surprise me though.NVGator;n287950 said:We're 3-1 ATS. We're due.

NVGator;n287982 said:Really? Because I'm 3-1 this year when picking Gator games, you Bozo.
Once again, you're simply wrong. There is no lack of talent, depth and experience yes. DRob and Callaway are the 2 best WR prospects we've had since Tebow was our QB. Fulwood and Powel will have very real shots at making rosters as well. We have 3 TE who should play on Sundays. We have at least two RB who will play at the next level as well. Much of the O-line will get a shot as well if they can avoid injury. The defense is stacked with so many NFLers, no point in even listing them.ATXGator;n287952 said:Really.. you don't think we lack talent as compared to other top teams. They probably don't even know what you are talking about. And in fact, you could easily be 2-2 if you picked the Gators every week. They didn't cover against E Carolina or UT if you bet them before the spread changed after the suspensions. Remember we opened and stayed at -1.5 until Treon and Tabor got exed.NVGator;n287996 said:You do know if you are claiming to be 4-0 then that means you've picked against the Gators, right?
Ill go ahead and take that Gator Fan Card from you.
