Team had every right to retaliate
Even if I fully agreed with this, the team didn’t initially retaliate at all. Then, Mullen went bat**** crazy yelling and charging at the other team and coaches. He incited the situation.
Muschamp was watching both jealous of Mullen’s buyout to pull that off and the enthusiasm with which the program CEO showed his lack of control.
Then the postgame presser as Darth Vader. Fuching moronic. Sorry for those that love anything the coach does, but show me the national title winning coach that has also played a circus clown. Then, he kept with his end of game shtick that he was running out to stop the fighting and get the refs to break it up. Those comments are more clownish than the outfit.
“Tape don’t lie” and the tape shows Mullen running ape shyt at the tigger sideline before there was escalation, not him going out as a peacemaker to ask the refs to help. If anything, just own it for the recruiting value and possible messaging - you mess with our players, our coach will attack you and the whole team will stand together to support you. That could sell. Instead, it’s this fake story BS where the film shows he’s obviously lying.
At least he didn’t blame our crowd.
